Help!! My team is sinking

12 team H2H league where we keep basically all our guys (we sign them to contracts, 75 yrs max, 26 roster).

we start: 2c, 2lw, 2rw, 4d, 2util, 2g

stats: G, A, P, +/-, PIM, PPG, PPA, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, FW, W, GA, GAA, SV, SV%, SHO

I won last year with this team:

C-E.Staal,Backstrom,Arnott,Conroy,Fedorov,Mueller,St oll, Weight
LW-heatley,Nash,Morrow,Booth,kozlov,Samsonov
RW-Hemsky,Kessel,Guerin,Clark
D-Rafalski,Burns,Redden,Carle,Bieksa,Enstrom
G-Lundqvist,Emery,Lehtonen

My team this year:

IR-Bogosian,Rolston

I made moves this year to get Iggy and Turco but I continue to lose.

I did drop Gilbert and obviously he has like 3 A today...FA is really slim...best guys are Moreau, Mara...Wheeler, hanson, kennedy, hagman, Sbisa..

any thoughts? or trade options?

you got a very nice team. last year you won because you had guys who had steller yrs. burns, booth, emery wasnt too bad either.

but oyu have heatley, iginla, staal, backstrom..

staal and backstrom are having slow starts. if you hold off a bit they should pick it up and you should be fine.

other option you have is to trade. you are deep in center, and RW. maybe package some of those guys and pick up a better dman and goalie. those are your best options.

There\'s no reason for you not to think you won\'t be competitive again. Once some of your slow starters get in gear you should be fine. If anything, you look stronger than last year. Be patient, don\'t panic and, by the end of the year, you should be just fine.

Really nice team. Mueller, Backstrom and Turco will all turn things around along with other guys mentioned earlier and you should be back and battling again.

ugh, maybe you guys are are....i started out well with a win in the 1st week and now I am about to drop 3 weeks in a row...I am losing 16-0-2 right now maybe the score just shook me up.

i am really hoping that Rolston picks it up when he comes back. He should be good for SOG and FW as a LWer which is really good right? Was he even playing center?

Rolston has not had less than 281 SOG the last 6 seasons so I think you are ok there.

Rolston has stated he prefers playing LW, but the Devils did sign him to be the 1st line center between Elias and Gionta. According to the article about the signing he has never played #1 center before.

Regarding FW, Rolston was a monster in his last 3 years in Boston, but has decreased each season since then I assume due to reduced time/role and less FW chances. He only had 67 last season.
