I’m thinking of starting with Marchand for Rantanen. He might want Marner. I just don’t know how they compare.

I would take Rantanen over Marchand, so yes - he improves your keepers.
The problem is I'm not sure you have enough to offer. I'd start with Marchand + one of Garland or Teravainen for Rantanen but you may have to go up to Bjorkstrand.

Yeah I'd be fine if it's Marner for Rantanen. Both star wingers who are young. A preference thing mostly imo.
I wouldn't move Rantanen for Marchand in a limited keeper (without PIMS) either unless the + gave me a real shot at winning this year.
In truth, I think he's just not worth chasing at this very moment. He's hot and there's buzz b/c Mack is coming back too. You'll almost certainly have to pay more than you would have a few months ago. So unless you have an abundance of something to deal from... I think sit back and wait for him to either get injured or go through a slump (no guarantee either happens) or for Marner to go ape for a bit if you really want to make that swap.
In short - don't think Marchand gets it done in this format and Marner is a sideways move imo so it just might not be the right time yet to pursue this. Good luck.
