Vegas GM said they were discussing a deal for Eichel since September.

Turns out it’s more routine than it sounds, but is a pretty long procedure.

Hey, Tarasenko’s shoulder and Fabbri’s knee surgeries were first unsuccessful… so I guess it is worth mentioning lol.

What I didn't know was that there are European Professional Hockey Players that have had this procedure and Eichel talked to them (according to Eichel) about it.

We'll know more Friday/Saturday as his surgery is expected to happen on Friday.

Once allowed to begin rehab he will go under the supervision of Mark Lindsay from Ottawa, who was involved in Connor McDavid’s knee rehab.

Probably not. They'll just convince themselves that Eichel was a problem who needed to go just like they did and continue to do with now Stanley Cup Champion and Conn Smythe winner Ryan O'Reilly.

The time from surgery to skating was never that long, it was him getting up to speed since his last game he's played was March 7th, 2021. And he's jumping back into the league behind the eight ball. Still good news he's skating.

Probably not. They'll just convince themselves that Eichel was a problem who needed to go just like they did and continue to do with now Stanley Cup Champion and Conn Smythe winner Ryan O'Reilly.

Why? If the surgery is a total success, that's great. I think everyone always hoped it would be. But Buffalo didn't want to take the chance with a franchise player that it wouldn't be, and certainly didn't want to one take that chance once it was clear a trade was necessary. I can live with that.

I'm rooting for Eichel. Hope he comes back better than ever. That's never been the question and hasn't changed.
