Gibson/Blackwood better than....

Hey guys.

1st league in sig.

Current goalies Helly, Holtby, Merzlikins

I have Blackwood in IR and Gibson was just dropped.

I'm debating getting rid of Holtby and Merz and just running with Gibson or Blackwood as sure starters and just having 2 goalies to try and capitalize on skater stats.

All are not overly enticing so running with 3 isn't really working for the goalie stats so may just forget them and go for skaters.

Thoughts? Am I crazy?

I would drop Holtby and grab Gibson.

I feel that Blackwood is the least of these options. He's not going to be a starter dominating the crease given that he's coming back from injury, Bernier's been excellent, and he's not close to a proven elite guy who owns the crease.

Gibson hasn't been good so far this year, and while he is a starter, the team isn't great.

You could try to go for just skater stats, but I think I'd prefer to run with just one of Holtby or Merzlikins over these 2 guys, unless you have a minimum start requirement that Hellebuyck & one of them won't meet.

We do have a minimum start - 3 games - Helly and one of them should meet I suppose.
