I agree that our judicial system is flawed sometimes (US and Canada).

If everyone knew about that and we are more than 10 years in the future, it's so depressing to think that everyone doesn't say a thing until today.

nothing is fine..but to make sure all bad guys in hockey are cut...you almost need to close up doors on NHL.....there was a lot of wrong back in a day....some worst then others but many walked fine line...

Cheveldayoff and Florida's statements were very odd. Cheveldayoff at least spoke and said something. Quenneville had his statement made by Florida and they just pretty much said "no comment"

The incident happened between a young player and a coach under Quenneville. I would think he needed to know about this.

And it's 2010, I don't think many older men knew how to deal with sexual assault, let alone men-to-men sexual assault, no one likely knew what to do so more ears on the situation? I'm also sure JQ hired him, why wouldn't management want his word on the situation. Or if he didn't hire him, he def worked with him the most.

Not one of the men are at fault, all are. Every one of them did the wrong thing. And JQ lying in the investigation (essentially, he said he couldn't remember) while others stepped up (even tho they lied in the summer) prolly won't sit well with players. Plus JQ putting winning ahead of players health/safety...I dunno what to think if I'm a Panther. Panthers play today, should get more clarity over the situation once the team speaks to the media today.

all great points ; totally agree but we both know some lawyer is going to type up something for Joel to read thats going to come across as both showing sensitivity to the incident and shifting blame elsewhere
