Finished drafting, what do you think?

STRATEGY
- just how things shook out, I passed on goalies to take some great F/D that were on the board who I felt were better value
- as a result all 3 goalies rostered were the last 3 selections

PLEASANT SURPRISES
- getting Brady Tkachuk at #117 when ADP was #26 (91 pick/8 round difference)
- Varlamov at #141 with ADP being #48 (93 pick/8 round difference)
- Price at #148 with ADP being #63 (85 pick/7 round difference)
- other notables compared to their ADP's: Ehlers dropped 2 rounds, Pavelski 1.5 rounds, DeBrincat+Rielly 1 round

NOT SO PLEASANT SURPRISES
- Necas & Bennet taken right before my turn, then took Couturier but missed on the potential breakout and dual position eligibility
- Ullmark taken 1 pick before my turn, went with Price then
- Bobrovsky/Mrazek/Blackwood all taken after selecting Price with my penultimate pick but before my final pick settling with Nedjelkovic



.....I feel pretty content apart from the goaltending. Even then really lucky having gotten Varlamov/Price with my 3rd and 2nd last picks so it could have been a lot worse on that note.

Price placed on IR -- any ideas who I should pick up? If I go for an spare goalie, there's Merzlikins/Gibson/Murray available. An extra dman, there's Pulock/Ekholm/Byram/Seider. And at forward there's Kyrou/Verhaege/Dvorak/Zegras ...and would it be ideal to also IR stash Varlamov so I can pick up 2 players? His injury looks short term from what I've read.

Grab Merzlikins, he’ll be way more productive than Ned and possibly even Price.

Then pick up Pulock - you start 3D so need some cushion there.

Would not roster any more than your 3 starting D.

I’ve placed claims for Merzlikins+Khudobin. Once Varly’s back, I’ll keep whoever seems to get more of the starts

…so, the team that drafted Bennett dropped him for another player. I really view Bennett highly because of how well he fit in with FLA last year and with our categories, can see him being a top50 forward in our league.


with Varly+Price going on IR and having picked up Elvis+Dobby, should i drop one of the latter 2 for Bennett or drop Nedeljkovic instead?

If you think you can maintain reaching goalie minimum starts with just 2 goalies, I would get Bennett...

Though figure out how many points you think Bennett would average in a week, then do the same for the goalie.
I think player would fetch you more though just by looking at it.

yep you’re right, Bennett would average more points considering the goalies won’t play every game of the week

who from Ned/Dobby/Elvis would you suggest i drop?
