Default Which 4 of these top forwards would you want. I don't know.

Hi Guys. Points only, G-1...A-1 It's just a non-draft pool with a simple points set-up but I have a hell of a time deciding on my final handful of players. I've got 11/17 forwards picked and need 6 more from this list. Dobberites know more about players than I do. So if 3 or 4 of you could select 4-6 players, seeing who you guys like would really help me to finalize my roster.

    Patches...Petterssen...Wheeler...Lindholm...Stamko s...M. Tkachuk...Landeskog...Terravainen...Voracek...Boes ser...Bergeron
    ...Konecny.

    Thanks guys. Appreciate the help.

    One year league:

    Patches
    Stamkos
    Bergeron
Wheeler as my 4th - only one I'd accept an argument as replacement for him is Pettersson

the rest don't have that pt/gm PLUS potential

Thanks lucafen4. Very helpful. Been debating Bergeron as he is lowest on the list in points (63)according to Dobber's Points rankings on the Draft List in the Fantasy Guide. I think his playing with THOSE 2 wingers would get him more than 63 unless he's injured.

SOME POOL RULES. Points only (G-1, A-1). One year Hybrid Pool. 3 round draft with balance of roster selected from any undrafted NHLer.. 19F 4 D 2 Rooks SALARIES AND POSITIONS DO NOT MATTER (other than being a F or D). NO Inter-Team Trading, Bench or Minors. Our WAIVER WIRE is ANY player in the NHL who is not Drafted in our league's 3 round draft. Each manager gets 6 ADD/DROPS (TRADES) for the year...any player on roster can be TRADED for any unDrafted F/D/R from ANY NHL team. INJURY RULE "IR". A hurt player can be replaced by another F/D from HIS NHL team and this is NOT considered a trade.. Injured player can be put back on team any time.

    Pettersson

    Points only:

    Goalies: win (2), otl/sol (1), shutout (2)
    Team: win (2), otl/sol (1)
Only 2 FA pickups for the season (remaining: 0)

    Pure points:

    70-75 Pettersson,
65-70 Pacioretty, Lindholm, Tkachuk, Landeskog, Bergeron, Boeser, Stamkos
    60-65 Teravainen, Konecny, Wheeler
    55-60 Voracek

The hard part is picking 5/7 from second group.
People will likely have differing opinions there.
I'd probably not take Landeskog... as it seems COL thinks about using him on line2 occassionally.
And I think people are going to pass on Bergeron due to age... and that's probably a fair consideration.

Those are the four I'd take, in order.
    12 team, H2H, salary cap
    1 pt/G or A, 2 pts/W, 1 pt/OTL, 1 pt/SO

    Forward: B. Point, M. Necas, A. Debrincat, T. Zegras, J. Bratt, L. Raymond
    Defense: J. Morrissey, A. DeAngelo, S. Gostisbehere, D. Doughty
    Goalie: T. Demko, E. Merzlikins
    Bench: M. Rossi, C. Glass, M. Maccelli, M. Dumba, K. Shattenkirk, F. Andersen
Prospects of Note: L. Stankoven, J. Lekkerimaki, D. Yurov, B. Clarke

League has been running continuously since 1997-98

I would steer away from the others, especially Wheeler (I think the decline is there) and Boeser (can't stay healthy) as they don't have the requisite upside to counter their flaws.
