Yeah... that would be a great inclusion to the site's tools and to the Dobber Excel file - Yahoo rank.
(ADP is ever-changing... a little hard, but a weekly every Sunday update or so would be great).
does anyone know of an easy way to import the yahoo ADPs onto the dobber draft spreadsheet other than just manual entry? i'm trying to go through and get my draft data organized into 1 place and seeing how i may need to get value later in drafts
thanks all

If you have it in another spreadsheet, copy/paste it into a new tab and then you could just do a vlookup for it. The. You just need to redownload the ADP file and copy/paste it in to update automatically.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
He's looking for a way to import the ADP's directly from yahoo to his spreadsheet. Otherwise your copy and pasting 50 names at a time. Yahoo sucks for this. It doesn't seem like this was successful by any of the Football people.
All I've managed to be able to do is import the basic 50 that shows . If there's another website with all yahoo ADP's its probably easier to just pull from it lol. If you know of one - post it here.
I do have moderate success. Ill update in a bit.

So If you got to fantasypros.com
NHL >>>>>> Rankings
Select ADP Rankings from the left hand side - Gives you a list of ADP from 3 sources including yahoo.
Beside the Pick Sources Box there's a down arrow Icon thing that downloads an excel file of the ADP's.
The ADP's are rounded to the nearest whole number. So Matthew and Pastrnak that are both 7.8 ADP, on this they are 7 and 8.
Hope that works.
Note: Looking at the list - it's not yahoo's full list of draft eligibles.
My coworker knows more about SQL and databases then I do. I'll see if he can figure anything out. I won't be able to discuss it out with him until Wednesday though.

I know there’s prob some manual entry required in this. Was just hoping to a avoid having to do like 90% copy and paste or data entry

Fantasypros only seems to grab the top 200 ADP of yahoo... I don't know why it's set to that and not just every player that's listed since they have ADP's from CBS that go beyond 200.

so my wife tells me i can do a vlookup formula on excel to pull the ADPs into dobber's sheet.
on sheet 1 - in a cell next to the name =vlookup(
assume a1 is Connor McDavid
and column 1 is name and column 2 is ADP on sheet 2
try =vlookup(a1,sheet2A:B,2,0)
A1 is the value to lookup on ADP sheet
Range to look at the ADP sheet columns A to B
You want the value in column 2
it all seems very foreign to me but it's no manual entry!

Yes if you already have a sheet with the ADP's on it,VLOOKUP will work. It's not the best practice method, but is the simplest one.
You will quickly see which names have alternate spellings.

so turns out its not as easy as initially thought. for some reason pulling the names and data from 2 different sources the vlookup formula isnt working
good stuff...

Update. Got it to work. There were extra spaces in the fantasypros spreadsheet which was messing up the vlookup.
problem solved

Then when you're done and want to remove the adp sheet, you can just copy your vlookup column and paste over it as Paste Values (removing the formulas). ( Me personally I don't like extra sheets lol)
