Best option for this year only?
League 1 in signature - clearly I’m going to ride Vasilevskiy mostly every week since we only start 1 goalie.
But I like to have a backup on my bench just incase. Who is the best backup plan option for this year?
- Oettinger (drafted with my last pick in a rush)
- Blackwood (just dropped by a GM due to vax status news)

If Ottawa is an improved team, I would imagine Murray to get a lot of starts.
The others seem like they're sharing time with other goalies.
Maybe Hill might have the crease unless he waivers...
Vanecek might get a lot of wins even with fewer starts.
I would probably narrow it down between Murray and Vanecek.

Among those, I'd go Merzlikins, he of the recent "you're our #1 guy" contract.

Ive had Vasi for his entire career. When he goes down I pick up whomever takes his crease. TB is good enough that you can do that. Elvis is solid too though.
