D: J. Carlson, Josi, Pietrangelo, Doughty, Chabot, E. Karlsson, Gudas, M. Ferraro
G: Vasilevskiy, Shesterkin, F. Gustavsson

With the above 29 keepers, that leaves me 1 remaining spot to choose from the following players:

P. Francouz G - Col
J. Korenar G - Ari
N. Foote LW - NJ
S. Fagemo LW - LAK
A. Radulov LW/RW - Dal
E. Afanasyev LW - Nsh
Zac Jones D - NYR

Radulov is old and was injured most of last year. Thinking about letting him go to the WW. Is that a mistake? Otherwise, I am leaning towards Francouz or Korenar or Jones or Foote but cant decide. I might need the goalie depth most, but if not, would probably rather keep Jones or Foote for their ceilings. But if do need the extra goalie, have to decide which one. Francouz I think is being underrated. 2 years ago he basically split time with Grubauer and they were both fantastic during the regular season. Francouz has had a hard time staying healthy, but if he does, he should still get a lot of starts behind Kuemper and for one of the best teams in the league. Korenar could surprise and surpass Hutton in Arizona. But they also have Prosvetov who's been very good in the AHL, so not sure how far Korenar can really go.

I think either Radulov or Francouz is your guy. Alternatively you could drop Chytil and keep both as I really don't see Chytil getting better than 3rd line deployment for the foreseeable future.

Makes sense. I am leaning towards Francouz I think. Just really worried about a big drop off for Radulov this year. He's so old right now and after missing most of last season, just not as confident in expecting him to return to his old form.

But As a Ranger homer, I disagree about Chytil though. I guess we will have to wait and see, but if a worthy 3C emerges from preseason, someone like Barron maybe, I could totally see Chytil moving to 2c and Strome to his RW to help with faceoffs. If not, he will stay at 3C for this season, with Kreider and maybe Kravtsov or Goodrow. Chytil is still just 21 and last year he was the Rangers best all around center. Top 50 in the entire NHL in even strength per 60. Strome and Zibby contracts up after this season and I don't know if they extend both. Well, basically, if Chytil doesn't get time at 2C this year, he almost certainly will next season. I think the Rangers have him locked in to 2C for the future. Now he just needs to work on his faceoffs. I don't think people yet realize how good Chytil has gotten.

I don't think Chytil is bad, I just think he's the weakest link on your roster right now at a position that you've got more than covered.

I like Francouz. As much as he has battled injury, so has Keumper. I suspect he will be splitting starts down the stretch on a hot Avs team. Not convinced anyone else has the same value added to your team. I wont be surprised if francouz ends the season better off than Gus on your team.

I think Francouz is by far the best option. A) he gets 30
starts if he’s average, and wins more than half. B) he gets the net if/when Kuemper gets hurt, or cold. C) a decent chance he’s the Avs’ 50/50 GK by the end of this year, or the beginning of the next.

Francouz over Radulov, but both over Chytil.

I feel Korenar is a sneaky good choice as well, as Hutton is brutal.
