Which side do you prefer in a full dynasty league with a $90,000,000 salary cap and 23 man rosters with 27 man farm teams? It's a 28 team league that uses the following stats:

Short Handed Point - 2
PPP - 1
Block - 0.5
Hit - 0.5
SOG - 0.5
FOW - 0.1
Should I keep my 2022 1st round draft pick or trade it for Emil Bemstrom and Kristian Vesalainen? I fully expect to be a championship contender this season.

I'd prefer the pick. Seems like Bemstrom will be a 3rd liner at best and Vesalainen is just a big-bodied guy with not much else to recommend. Vesalainen could put it all together someday, and he's only 22. Then again, he's already 22, we'd have hoped for at least a strong AHL season by now. A 20th overall pick isn't any guarantee to hit, but at least there's hope.

I'm inclined to give both Bemstrom and Vesalainen a chance to take the next step and see what happens. A 20th overall is not likely to net you anything better than these two and even if it does you will be waiting 3 years to find out. However, if you can turn that 20th into a pick upgrade somehow, a top 10 preferably, then this does make sense. If you think you can do that then make the trade, but if not I'm keeping these two over the 20th.

Is it the 20th pick + free agents? What kind of free agents could you pick up?
In a vacuum, I like the players better than the 20th pick.

I ended up trading my 2022 1st and a late 4th round pick in this year's draft for Emil Bemstrom and Kristian Vesalainen. I liked the move as it was trading one late 1st round pick for 2 players with first round potential but who already have 4 years of development and will contribute to my team this season.
It's a deep league as there are 28 teams with almost 50 players/prospects each. The best available players on the waiver wire would be undrafted guys who signed NHL contracts this summer and old, expensive vet dmen such as Jake McCabe, Erik Johnson, Nick Leddy,
