Fitzpatrick starts over 13 games for the first time since 2015 when he was a Jet.

Is it just me that thinks Lamar Jackson is not a bonafide NFL QB? The more I see of him the less impressive he is. 2 INT so far vs KC, second one he threw into triple coverage with little duress. Plus all the games he’s lost by trying to do way to much. Anyways just thought he’d be better than what he’s showed. Great talent but I’m getting a small RG3 vibe. Not saying he’s that bad but maybe I’m overreacting. End rant. Disclosure* I don’t own him in any fantasy leagues plus I hate the Ravens.

Mine Hasn't aged well lol
I agree with you, I think he's over hyped. He's likely damaging to a team long term in a way that, I don't think he can win the Super Bowl. And having a talented QB like that is something you can't replace, or even think about replacing right now. But, I think he won't be able to win in the Super Bowl, and that's the goal.
However this team has shown their run game is based off of coaching and Lamar, doesn't matter who the RB is. Ravens will put up games like this week and make everyone fall in love with them again, but then Lamar will throw a terrible pick and the conversation will pop up again. He doesn't have elite vision, or decision making (yet) and he's in the conversation for elite QBs. So the discussion of his talent will always be there.

Yes, I'm very skeptical that Harbaugh can win a SB with Jackson as his QB. I think he is a great athlete but is he a great QB? I saw him (again) last night win the game with his feet. When he decides to sit in the pocket and throw it is usually a wobbler or he jumps while throwing. That stuff catches up to you in the long haul if you don't improve. He thinks run first while in the NFL if you don't think throw first then you are screwed. I totally agree that unless he learns to throw the damn ball, he won't win a SB. But then again Trent Dilfer won a SB...

What are the similarities and differences when comparing to a guy like RGIII or Cam Newton?
RG3 had a good arm, could run, and his decision making wasn't terrible but his coaching staff and team was garbo so hard to decide if it was him or it was being put in a bad situation. But his running wasn't as jukey as Lamar. Lamar is in love with jukes and being shifty. RG3 just wasn't like that. His downfall from being special was the team and injuries to knees.
Newton was a hard runner, big dude that was difficult to bring down and he knew it. His arm was not good, but not bad pre-injury. The reason he put up ridiculous stats was his offense was efficient, and his defense put them in point scoring positions. Teams would go down early against them and forced to throw which just made INTs happen or hard sacks.
Lamar is just the best parts of Netwon and RG3 together with a great coaching staff and a good O-Line. And Newton made it to the SB because his defense would create takeaways that put the offense in such good field position he just didn't have to do too much. Lamar doesn't have that luxury of having that defense Carolina has, so his play needs to make up for it. So going farther down the field just raises the chance of a bad decision throw.
RG3 was great to watch, but just tough injuries and that playoff game he should NOT have been in, might have saved his career if he wasn't playing in it.
