What are the cats, etc. in this league? One year or dynasty? Limited number of keepers? These things really matter to be able to assess that deal...
got an offer for draisaitl for M Tkachuk and Pettersson. i’m in a 14 team keeper league, i’m in a slight rebuild nothing drastic. i imagine i’ll fight for the 8th playoff spot. is this something people would agree with trading drais ? or should he be a keep forever. i don’t have the strongest roster so that’s why i thought might help boost the day to day roster. thanks for the advice !!

I wouldn't be against a two for one in your situation and I like M.Tkachuk a lot in this format. But Pettersson is generally overvalued, his name value exceeds his real value in multi cat leagues given his lack of peripherals. Are there other optiins as possible returns along Tkachuk?

not a whole lot left from him that i feel is worth moving Draisaitl (Beauvillier, Wahlstrom, Nylander, Bertuzzi maybes?), but i have a potential side deal of moving pettersson for debrincat

M.Tkachuk and Pettersson are great players.. but they aren't Drai. Also important, is that you will likely be dropping a current keeper to make way for 2 incoming players vs 1 outgoing. So the trade becomes a scenario where you are picking which pair would you rather.. M.Tkachuk/Pettersson vs Drai/??. Even without knowing, I prefer Drai.

I'd hold with Draisaitl. With this offer you're paying a lot for future expectations. You would need both of them to reach their potential for this trade to work out in your favour. While certainly possible, if they stagnate you badly lose it instead.

I'll preface this by saying I'm not experienced in Multi cat leagues. So, take my advice as you will.
I would be saying a fast no to the trade. Why?
Points production by one player is very valuable and the only person outscoring Draisatl right now is Mcdavid AND draisatl gets a ton of FOW with his production... So, he's nearly un-tradeable aside from an overpay, regardless of league format. Points are incredibly valuable and the hardest to get of all cats (especially goals...). The rest can be supplemented elsewhere.
But Draisatl offers ridiculous points value AND FOW... So, nope, Petey and Matty aint cutting it for me.
I’d keep Draisaitl. Matt is nice for multi cat and EP doesn’t make it worthwhile dealing a top 3 forward in the league. It’s not a bad offer but you have the sure thing.
Call me old one more time.

KEEP DRAISAITL AT ALL COSTS DAMMIT! I mean, keep him you beauty.
I am a hockey obsessed fiend.
You have to be getting a 1st rounder back as well here. The only guy Drai can’t out score is McJesus. Upgrading your hits and PIMs with Tkachuk is nice, but not at the expense of 100+ points, with 30+ of those coming on the Powerplay. Drai is also rounding out his faceoffs. Peterson has serious point scoring potential, but Drai has proven himself to be a 100 point beast.
Keep Drai.
