Was considering Hamilton but him being in NJ knocks him down a few pegs for me

Yeah, I wish I could've waited a little more but he's the last of my Tier 1 D (with Makar and Hedman) so I wanted to make sure I had him before the turn since I won't pick again for 20 more picks.

I'm not down on Hamilton at all. I think the increased minutes he'll play in NJ will balance out the quality of ice he had in Carolina. And New Jersey has a lot of up-and-comers on offense so I'm not worried about his production at all and his peripherals (especially his shots) are solid.

Good to know. And I agree with butch, Miller and Nurse are solid options in this format.

I had no idea where to draft Seguin but my projections actually had him as a 2nd round pick so I feel OK drafting him here.

Excellent Seguin pick. He was my alternative to my last choice, and I’d thought (why?) that he might slip through a round.

Seguin is exactly the sort of under the radar high value grab to look for because a lot of folks have forgotten about him...

I have never considered drafting Stone. It’s probably because I had others plans at his ADP or perhaps his lack of gaudy shots and hits. But he’s got some interesting stats. He’s been point per game for four years. His shots aren’t great but they’re good enough. His hits are better than some, worse than others, and he’s a positive, for a forward, in blocks. Good +/- and good enough PPP. He fills in some of my blind spots.
