I'm a dobber nerd checking in waaaay too often already so unless I'm in bed I'll rarely hold up a draft .

Drafting without some sort of adp is def different. Hard to guess where you might be able to make up some value. I was surprised at how late bread man went tho

Panarin, with this set up, has some negative value categories and is more valuable in other leagues. Still, points and PPP are hard to come by later.

Yeah, he'll offer nothing in Hits, BS and PIM but his offensive production justifies a high pick. Not many forwards have his 100-pt upside, especially from the wing.

At this stage in the draft I'd rather Panarin and his points upside and get some scrubb banger D like Hagg to make up the extra cats near the end

I would rather fly on this draft without the parachute. Looking at the ADP and projections obviously for my leagues, but I wrote out a wish list round-by-round. Now of course I won’t GET all (or maybe half?) of my list, but I hope I generate some comments after the first 8-10 rounds. Past the top 100 it gets far less scientific anyway.

Re: Panarin. But those category negatives are why he might last into the second while in another league he may go top 10.

there was some good stuff about him in a recent ramblings. Sounds like he’ll need more ice time to reach that next level. But the guide already has him at a ppg

Yes - and this is a roto league that counts hits. I think he will be a nice addition.

He was next up in my queue so I agree it's a strong pick!

Adam Fox this early is bold to me. With these cats, I had him much lower. Interesting to see what his value is after his Norris win.

No argument. Figuring on 60 pts, but near 1/2 as PPP. I actually had him as 4th round but all my 3rd round targets were gone. I may have buyer’s remorse within 2 picks.

Haha, I don't think you're losing the league with this pick. Fox will still grab you plenty of points. But as I did my prep, I was surprised to see how low his peripherals were compared to the other top D. Made me realize I probably wouldn't draft him in any of my leagues this year.
