I’m all Brady all the time now. We’ve had plenty of time to reflect on my draft choice now. No going back!

Picks made, and messaged Nico. Hope he enjoyed dinner.

To let you guys know, my sleep schedule (on days I sleep) is very variable. I am sometimes sleeping days, and other times nights. This should be ending in a couple months, and I'm looking forward to a bit of normalcy. Very glad to be at an end to not slow things down, and I completely winging this draft.

Dinner was great, thanks! So rare we can enjoy a night out with two young kids at home!

Pick made. Hopefully, we can get this going. I didn't PM butch since he asked not to.

ironically the system didnt send me an email when you picked , only when SG did his b2b.

I was lights out by then anyways . Nice to wake up with a coffee and being on the clock though

Makar at the top of round 2 is interesting. I have a tendency to underrate defensemen in most drafts so hopefully you didn't start a run while my next pick is 20 slots away.

Yeah I was figuring Makar wouldn’t last to pick 19. Here or in most other drafts this year.

I think you only get an email for the first post since you last visited the forum.

Man - Makar is a good pick but I like Panarin even more. I almost forgot he was there. I’ve been a little bearish on Makar since one of the Ramblings writers pointed out that his production had topped out and was even borderline un-sustainable. I hope I haven’t faded him too much...

Yeah, my next two after Patrick Kane were Panarin and Pasta. I think both those players could turn up 1st round value in a good year.

I had Pastrnak ahead of Kane and Panarin, although those two, plus a couple undrafted as of yet, were on my list. Pastrnak makes me nervous because of his baby’s death, not to make light of it by turning into a problem for my fantasy team, but I don’t think I would get out of bed for a long time after if that happened to me. He’s missed time in that last three years as well but his three year 82 game average is better than 15th overall.

I'm usually left holding the bag in one year leagues when it comes to premier offensive D ; hence Makar instead of breadman / pasta etc.
