Is he? I think the Leafs liked a lot of what they saw last year from Campbell. He was great in the playoffs, has the pedigree and is already settled in with the team. I believe they'll alternate starts until one of them gets hot or one gets injured.

I agree that Mrazek is the starter as long as he's healthy.

I guess training camp will give us more information about that. Until then, I don't think anyone can say with confidence.

LOTR: making other’s short lists shorter for as long as I’ve played with him (and likely long before that).

Campbell is not, nor do the Leafs see him as, an NHL starter.

I do not think Campbell is a lost. He took the job from Andersen... and oft-injured goalie.... I think he has proven himself. I am in the Campbell bandwagon for being the starter with more starts.

He'll definitely have value - it'll be a platoon as others have said probably 60/40. And Mrazek has had his injury issues. But Campbell's head is not made for being an NHL starter. It's why he's had the issues he has over the years. They are not going to ride Mrazek the way say the Preds will ride Saros.

I don't know, I think it's dangerous to make statements like this, in general. In this case, I don't believe it matters because we all agree it's going to be split starts but in general, I try not to make any assumptions about "psychological edges" or things like that because, as fans, we truly have no idea about what's going on.

If you do some reading on Campbell the info is there. It's not me guessing at what's going on. I think some are hoping he's turned over a new "Leaf" but like I said, I don't think the Leafs view him as a bone fide starter.

Hey - either there have been some really good picks this past round, or we’re all stupid together. I was looking at 5 players for my next turn, and four of ‘em went *POOF*
