If NHL is allowed to attend the 2022 Olympics then Cooper will be the head coach.

Great choice by Canada here. Wonder how deep into the process Olympic teams will get before NHL and NHLPA decide on sending players to Olympics.

Not a bad choice, hard to argue with consecutive stanley cups.

Cooper has been excellent at putting his player-pieces together to maximize their output.
With all the talent that will be available to TeamCanada - that's the skill you want out of your coach: who-clicks-together.

Good pick. He's managed talent and finding who can play with who pretty well. And his playoff coachign has been great.
I think this was a pretty obvious choice even with all the great Canadian coaches out there.
