I have lost faith in Nolan Patrick and I really want to root for the guy as a fellow Winnipegger and James Patrick fan (his uncle), but I think the confidence is shot. Is he Canada's version of Nail Yakupov?

197 career NHL games. Always wait until they reach their Breakout Threshold before passing final judgement. At the very least. And never underestimate the Golden Boy rule. A second overall pick will always be favored over a hard worker who is better. If Patrick is healthy, he'll be a first liner. If he's not (which is where my money is) then he won't be. Simple as that. Stephenson won't be the reason he fails.
