The amount of 3rd line D that can be 2nd line D is a long list in the NHL. And if you fill your top 4 with 2nd line D you can end up with a pretty solid core.
I'm more curious who is going to be the top forward line. Not looking as good when you pass on Tarasenko.

Hearing Seattle is going to take Colin Blackwell from #NYR ... but there could be a trade in the works (for D Mark Giordano?) that changes the pick and allows Rangers to keep Blackwell.

Steve Dangle who has friends in the Chicago organization said John Quennville. Who's a UFA G6 (didn't play 25games to get RFA status) which might be the "off the board" aspect of the pick.

I saw that tweet earlier. I dont know how they'd know it's an off the board pick if they dont know the name LOL!
So far, pick wise, I'm 12/28. Just under 50%. Not bad.
As far as the Kraken's team to this point, and of course there will still be plenty of changes, but right now, they look ok to me. Their D looks really good, their forwards are just so/so and their goalies have potential but are really unproven at this point. Good starting point for them. I didn't think Vegas looked like anything special coming out of the expansion draft either, and they went right to the Cup finals LOL!
