Re: Points only: Keller vs. Hischier
I think it's safe to say that both these guys have disappointed their owners over the years. Both are 22 years old, seems like they have been around a lot longer. The thing that stands out for me is the fact that Keller has played 60 more NHL games than Hischier. Is this significant and is it a concern? I would suggest that it is. Obviously, Keller has put up more points although a very slight edge goes to Hischier in PTS/G .61 to .64. While Hischier has had his injury problems, Keller has been remarkably durable. I don't really see much difference in the environments they are playing in either, neither the Devils or the Yotes are offensive juggernauts and I don't see that changing much anytime soon and accordingly I don't think the teams or potential line mate swings this in favour of one over the other much. I think this is pretty much a dead heat IF Hischier can stay healthy. His track record in that respect has not been good. I'm taking Keller here.
