Well, Hedman wasn't actually that great in front of Vasil during the regular season. he's been much better in the playoffs.
And if you followed the Knights you'd know that Alex Martinez has been an absolute lights out defender for them & Theodore emerged as a Norris type defender

that said, one telling stat is Quality starts

Fleury 72%
Grubauer 65%
Vasilevsky 57%

I really don't think Vasil should even finish 2nd in the voting.

With the 7 shutouts and 4 extra wins. along with a Presidents Trophy, I think Grubauer edges MAF.

As much as MAF deserves to win. it's hard to overlook Grubauer who has as good or better stats than Vasil & MAF.

I chose Grubauer, although, I suspect the NHL awards Vas. In the end... All 3 were fantastic and could be deserving of it.

I think Fleury wins it because him and Vas were both awesome but people want to vote for Fleury because he's likeable and doesn't have a Vezina yet

His age and character will be considered when voting takes place as well. Not exactly saying it should, but it will.

Edit: My personal vote also goes to MAF. What an incredible season for him.

I'll go Grubes. Avs just dominated and it's just another award the team ends up getting.
