Not a chance! haha Left ESPN a long time ago!
I only use it sometimes to create rankings by setting up a fake league cause I can export it neatly.
Anyone used them since their fantasy hockey went to complete crap a couple of years ago?

They'll probably sink some money in it next year when they become a broadcast partner again.

Never for any kind of fantasy. I did used to go for their baseball previews but then they started with the paywalls and I just found other places.
our league uses ESPN...player updates aren't great, but it does what we need it to, keep track of our points.

I am in two different keeper leagues for baseball and football that still use it. Not a fan but it is what it is.

Does it at least have a good app? That's basically what keeps me on Yahoo.

ESPN is still my go-to-site for box scores. I just like the layout and the ability to jump between players quickly (more quickly than any other site).
ESPN is also picking NHL hockey back up next year - so they may do some improvements to their fantasy hockey.
I used it for two years back around 2010... hated it.
To my knowledge, they haven't really improved the fantasy hockey platform since then.
I prefer Yahoo! for one-year leagues and Fantrax for keeper-leagues.

People used to like ESPN for fantasy but I've heard bad things in recent years.
Yahoo is awful and people need to stop using it immediately. This year they proved they can't handle any situation. They are coasting off a platform they built years ago. The next time something happens they'll let you down again.
Fantrax is the only answer. Set up a web link on your home screen and learn how to navigate their pages. I'm sure you'll survive. They're far from perfect but they're the only ones willing to help, fix problems and put a bit of effort into improving.

I think if your posting at Dobber boards your probably into leagues that have farm teams .
as far as I know Fantrax is the only stat provider that lists every prospect possible so for that reason alone it should be your #1 choice to use if your into leagues that have 200+ prospects .
I mean , if you have a hardcore commish that likes to create offsite spreadsheets that list everyones prospects I guess espn and others can be alright .
I’m in a range of leagues. Yes, FanTrax is clearly the best and as butch says it’s a must for dynasty leagues with farm systems - and I’m in one of these there. But for the more laid back roto league I do with my college buddies it’s not ideal. The user interface is not easy and there is no app. We were on ESPN for years and it went to shit. So we tried FanTrax and most of the guys didn’t like it. So now we are on Yahoo. As Eric said - they suck. That’s why I’m asking about ESPN. I really appreciate everyone’s input!
