Hamilton

Chabot
Hughes (assist heavy)
Heiskanen
With fantasy seasons winding down and fantasy trades picking up shortly, I wanted to see how everyone would rank the Dmen below based on the next 3 years (scoring in signature):
Q. Hughes (offensively gifted, but does his defense hold him back?)
D. Hamilton (looks like he’s arrived)
T. Chabot (any risk with Brannstrom?)
M. Heiskanen
S. Theodore (he keeps getting better. Does Pietrangelo ‘hurt’ his value going forward? Or have is this what we can expect out of Theodore?)
thanks you in advance!

Thanks for the input!
All of these guys are tier one D Men. What will determine how they ultimately will be ranked is the environments they each play in IMO. Based on that, I fully agree that Hamilton is in an environment that could well be described as fantasy gold. Theodore is also in a pretty sweet spot and I don't think AP is going to have much negative impact on what he can do. I like Hughes next, the Canucks have had a rough year but a solid offensive core exists there and Hughes does not have anyone breathing down his neck to challenge him being front and center in that offensive core. The next two are a bit tougher for me, Heiskenen is in a richer offensive environment than Chabot, but he has Klingberg in the way. The Sens are a good young team, but I just don't see them duplicating what already exists in Dallas for a few more years, accordingly, Chabot's numbers will likely reflect that. So I have them:
Hamilton
Theodore
Hughes
Heiskenen
Chabot
