Pick my keepers / Trade Bait ?

Hey Guys
Out of contention , keepers bolded in Signature as who I think are my next year untouchables.
Mainly only being offered picks for players now ( I’m sitting last and offers keep coming )

Dont want to move much , but who should be my last 2 keeper spots ?
Marchand, Panarin, Couturier , Nylander are locks for me

Wheeler ?
but Fiala ?
..... Necas is impressive, and worth the spot ?

Who would you trade off ?
Only picks are being offered right now ( no real prospects just throw ins )
and how high a pick is worth it?

Appreciate all the opinions lately , so much great advice from so many guys !

I honestly would put any and all on the table. Non of these players I would say are “untouchable” which honestly shouldn’t be a thing anyway, but that is a discussion for another day.

panarin is far and away the only guy that you should consider keeping but I wouldn’t be afraid to move him if the price is right. The rest send them out the door. In a 12 team keep 6 league, Marchand and Panarin are the only two worth keeping for a championship team. So send the other 4 out the door and see if you can upgrade to compete for next year. As for your last two keepers it probably does not matter, there will be way better players available in the draft than the last two and honestly probably your bottom 4.

looking at your options, have you looked into trading some of yours picks for another keeper? even in a keep 6, i'd like there'd be some better options out there than wheeler and fiala

I am in agreement with some of the other posts here; I would try to move any & all of your players currently for as many high draft picks as you can. Then after the fantasy season is concluded, try to buy some players for low picks who would be thrown back into the Draft pool from the top teams who have more players worth keeping than keeper spots available.

I have an owner in my keep-5 league who has Draisaitl, Point, Barkov, DeBrincat, Barzal, Huberdeau, Stamkos.... honestly... the 2 worst of those 7 would still be an upgrade over Nylander and Fiala for you... and after the season is over, considering they would just get thrown back into the pool, you try to buy them on the cheap.

So trade all of your players to amass as many picks as you can... and find an owner(s) who have more quality players than keeper slots, and after the season, buy their 'drops' for cheap mid-round picks. That is what I would do.

I don’t hate either one. But you shouldn’t be giving any picks no matter how late. I really like the first one.

I would target Eichel. He is an elite player and you might be able to use panarin to get him. This might be the only time you could get him straight up or even dare I say eichel +. That would be huge in my opinion.

As much as I like the idea , Eichel is held by a GM that is at the bottom as well , and is willing to just wait it out until next year for a re-bound.

Okay here is an idea. Go to the first or second place team and offer him Marchand and anyone else not named panarin for one of his top keepers plus picks preferably firsts.

It is likely the case that you have to balance picks for the re-draft, that each owner 'MUST' have 'X' amount of picks. Or rather, it doesn't make any sense for the original owner to hold extra picks for roster spots he doesn't have. Why not use the 6th and 10th to improve the return on the picks.

As for those 2 options; Getting Jack Hughes would be nice, but I wouldn't want to give up Panarin so easily. And With all of the turmoil in Buffalo, I don't know if Dahlin is there yet.

I would go for the second option, and move Wheeler for straight picks.

The first option is a bit risky. As other's have stated Dahlin doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I think you can get more for Panarin though.

Second option seems okay, but I don't like the idea of giving up 2 picks in 2021. See if you can change one of them to 2022.

In a 12 team keep 6, I would swing for the fences to get an elite elite elite player.

I think you should keep Panarin. But anyone else I would try to bundle for another player on a similar level as Panarin. Or, as it looks like you aren't keeping a goalie, maybe try to get a tier 1 or 2 goalie that you can keep for a few years to come.
