Vanecek or Lankinen.

Both confirmed to start today and both are likely to play 2 games, Lankinen maybe 3.

Vanecek plays Buf tonight and then NYR in a b2b later this week. Juicy start against Buf and Vanecek has excellent stats against Buf.

Lankinen on the other hand has terrible numbers against Fla and TB. But you would think that since his numbers are so bad against them they will have to come up and he's due for some excellent outings against them.
I still feel that choosing goalies is a bit of a voodoo and always second guess my choice but this seems like a easy Vanecek over Lankinen pick for the week.

Yes, I did analyze Lankinen's numbers against different teams. His numbers against other teams are not bad either, it's 2 games against Fla and 2 games against TB that bring his average down a lot. Short sample size, though, but still concerning.
