When I saw Streaming Rights for Disney...say goodbye to illegal streams.
ESPN is ALL OVER UFC illegal streams, wonder if they'll have any type of care on NHL illegal streams. Having it on Disney+ as an additional fee...I can see them hammering down on those streams.
Damn.
Will be good for the sport to progress on the online department, but man, I liked BilaSports.

I just hope some sort of package like NHL.tv will be available without even more blackouts since the NHL will be splitting their coverage to two networks. Definitely not a fan of Melrose and Wyshynski. Granted, we put up with McGuire and Milbury for years on NBC. Overall, I am displeased with the fact that it is getting split up. Right now, I get Sling for a couple months and watch the entire playoffs while it looks like the playoffs will be split between networks in the future.

ESPN+ has streamed UFC online and the second it freezes, its trending on twitter and people are PISSED. So Disney/ESPN prolly will need to improve their hardware to have this work.
I don't think the NHL streaming will happen flawlessly off the bat. The next thing is I hope ESPN/Disney+ doesn't get their hands on the NFL for streaming rights. It will kill a lot of fans.
UNLESS Disney+ are like "For $5 more you get Football sunday ticket rights" for the NFL. FYI, DirectTVs Football Sunday Ticket rights are up very soon and will go full digital soon (Amazon maybbeee?)
This is a start of it all, but they def need to improve their hardware so there's 0 lag/freezing/quality drop during top games. Imagine stanley cup final and the stream freezes. oooooohhh my lanta, the 10 american's out there watching would be pissed.
