Matthews trade

Hey I just received on offer on Matthews for Eichel and Kucherov. I’m currently in 4th place. I attached a photo of the current placement in my 10 team league. I’m torn on this. What’s everyone’s thoughts?

In a limited keeper like Keep 6 you want the best group of 6 keepers.
So quality over quantity is crucial.

I think this is a fair offer...

Your 6 keepers right now would be?

Matthews - Pastrnak - Connor - DeBRincat - Makar - Andersen (Or something along those lines)

Your best dropped player would be Boeser or Chycrun.

If you make the trade your keepers become:

Eichel - Kucherov - Pastrnak - Connor/Debrincat - Makar - Andersen

And then your top dropped player becomes Connor/DeBrincat.

Both sets of keepers look really strong. I think I would make this move

Then I would try following it up with Andersen and one of Connor/DeBrincat for Vasileskiy.

Please have a word with the Matthews owner in my league who wants McDavid straight up.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, you pretty much nailed what options I have for keepers. I know for a fact that Vaz owner is probably not willing to move him as he’s making a run at top spot. I’ll reach out to him and see what he’s thinking first tho.

Yes, try reaching out. It doesn't have to be the exact same trade I proposed. But I would try to make the move so that you don't have to drop as good as player as one of them.

I agree with this. I think Eichel + Kucherov is a keepers upgrade in the end. I'd pull the trigger.

Well I accepted it this morning. Then the Eichel news dropped two hours later. Idk how I feel now.
