Option C
I think Streaming those D-men and keep Teravainen in your lineup is better than having to stream another forward and having Ekblad every week.
Points only keeper dynasty. My team is coming out of a rebuild, i have the players to start pushing for a win for the next few years.
Every week we play 12 fwds / 6 D / 1 Goalie. We also have a bench of approx 11 players and 2 goalies who we can switch out weekly.
My best players are:
Sebastian Aho / B Point / Johnny Gaudreau / Kakko / Laine / Stone / A Svechnikov / Teravainen / Reinhart
Dahlin / Chabot / Fox / Gustaffson.
Hellebyuck / Samsonov in net
My D drops off after that with Calen Adison, Sean Walker, Myers, Gardiner etc. Hoping Adison will turn in to a solid D but essentially i am playing Gardiner / Walker / Myers every week, switching out as required, based on schedule or hot streaks.
My fwds also drop off - I play 4 of Mikheyev, Anders Lee, Dylan Strome, Danton Heinin, Troy Terry depending on the week ahead.
Losing Teravainen will be a hit on forward. Ekblad would be a great addition though. I'm pegging TT as 80 pts upside, but looks like his short term outlook may be that of a 60-70 pt guy with 3 min less per game on average this year.
Ekblad opposite situation - climbing in deployment. But he has a concussion history? and he hasnt "done it' for years yet.
Option A - trade TT for Ekblad straight up
Option B - Package TT and Samsonov for Ekblad and Markstrom (i think i like Samsonov better after this year)
Option C - Stay the course, wait for Adison and try to trade someone else to shore up.
Thanks!
