TJS kills players for the first yr, I dunno why I get sucked into the name. But they don't have the same control, and usually take a yr or 2 to come back to some former self. But in this late of the draft, I thought, "i'll likely drop a player draft here, why not get an IR stash"

Syndegaard was next in my queue before my last pick last night. I damn near took him with my last pick but wanted to get my last reliever spot filled before worrying about snagging bench/IR spots. Of course he goes a couple before my pick came around last night. Ugh.

Had him queued as well and yes I allllllllllllllllways fall for drafting injured guys. Don't love wasting an IL spot for weeks/months.....but at this point in the draft......

I dont see me trading for him. No doubt his value is low right now for obvious reasons so I wouldnt offer a viable/usable asset for him. Once he comes back, you will probably overvalue him so I doubt I'd like your asking price at that point. If I could have got him for nothing (as in drafting him to stash), he makes sense. Other than that, I'm good.

Maybe after this injury Syndergaard will learn how to pitch, and not just throw like he has in the past. Guy throws 99mph but has a 4ERA. It's because he doesn't know how to pitch, he's just been pure athleticism so far.
