Question Persistent offers for my McDavid

Keep 6 , team & scoring in signature.

3 offers received for my McDavid.

    OGM #1
My McDavid, Hall for OGM#1 Matthews, Kucherov ( he has Q.Hughes but I doubt he will add him)

    OGM #2
My McDavid, Marchand, Ehlers, Khudobin his MacKinnon, Rantanen, Teravainen, Kahkonen ( he also has Carlson, Gaudreau)

OGM #3 (I must be on his speed dial as McDavid offers seem to arrive daily)
My McDavid, Bjorkstrand, w.Karlsson, Reinhart his Point, Marner, Svechnikov, Dahlin

Current keepers: McDavid, Vasilevskiy, Panarin, Marchand, Hall, Malkin
OGM #1 if I could get Hughes into the deal
Matthews, Kucherov, Hughes, Panarin, Vasilevskiy, Marchand

OGM #2 if I could get Carlson instead of Teravainen and keep Marchand out of the deal
MacKinnon, Rantanen, Carlson, Panarin, Vasilevskiy, Marchand

    OGM #3
Point, Marner, Svechnikov, Panarin, Vasilevskiy, Marchand

Well what do you think ?

I haven’t had any luck trying to move Hall & Malkin

#1 is okay if you want to sacrifice this year and go for it next year, but he should still add more considering Kucherov has zero value for this year

#2 is straight up garbage. Every player on your side is better than every equivalent player on his side. I wouldn't even counter that shit.

#3 is good if you want to go for it this year. You're giving up the best player but getting absolutely stacked this year.

#1 isn't enough unless you send a scrub instead of Hall.
#2 is absolutely brutal in so many ways. The other pieces you'd give besides McD are WAY too much.
#3 I'd do. Those other 2 GM's are goofs if they think they can get McDavid AND quality pieces besides.

Deal #3 is the only deal I think is worth exploring.

The other 2 are asking for more and trying to give little.

    #2 I don't like.

I'd think about counters to 1 & 3 and see what you can do. When dealing McDavid, having multiple offers to play off each other should help.

OGM #3 offer is McDavid & 3 drops for Point, Marner, Svechnikov, Dahlin. Nothing else he can offer.

OGM #1 I would counter Matthews, Kucherov, Hughes with my McDavid, Barrie, Ehlers maybe Hall.

That’s where my thoughts are right now. OGM#1 first then OGM #3.

I also think 1 and 3 are worth exploring, and like what your thinking, see if you can get more added to 1. With #3 your getting a lot of good players but with #1 your getting 2 top players in the league that are just below mcdavid. If you can get a sweetener on top of that I would pull the trigger. If #1 doesn’t work out then work on 3. Normally I’d advise to not trade mcdavid and it still may be the way to go but these are good offers and I believe give you a better 6 keepers. And chance to win.

Personally I'd ask for picks in next years draft as well. McDavid and Draisatl just seem to be so far ahead of everyone else in points that it would be hard for me to give him up.
But if you were to do one deal, it would be number 3.

Point is a potential 100 point guy.
    So is Marner
Svechnikov could hit 90 next year as well.
Head to Head League: 1 point for G, 1 point for A. 2 for Goalie win, 3 for SO.
Start 6 guys every week. 3 O, 2 D and 1G. No substitutions once they are in (before the first game starts on Monday).
Protect 3 players every year in keeper.
    10 rounds of drafting
F: Crosby, Point, P. Kane, JVR, Kopitar, Rakell, Tarasenko,
D: Letang, Doughty, Karlsson, Grzelcyk, Faulk,
    G: Bob, Shesterkin, Demko, Kahkonen

Unless a deal will basically give you multiple championships, I'd rather have McDavid.

In a keep 6 the goal is to have the 6 absolute best keepers possible.
Offer 1 - you downgrade McDavid to Matthews - but upgrade hall to Kucherov.
but Kucherov is not playing this year - so... are you contending? if the answer is yes - you decline this offer.
Play hardball - Hughes or you walk. You have McDavid - that's the piece that is driving the offer in the first place. Play chicken.

Option 2. Is a hot mess of an offer. my #1 rule when considering trading a top 5 fantasy asset - trade him ALONE. Only way you get full value - Offer 1 may be the only potential exception on this deal.

Option 3. it's too big. you can't decipher proper value for all those pieces going out. I pass solely due to size. - see my rule for trading a mcDavid - this obliterates it. pass - pass - pass

Too early to say if contending or not. Made two goaltending errors at ends of weeks 2 and 3. Sitting at 1-2-1 right now.
Offer 3 will always be there. He has an ever changing lineup and sends weekly McDavid offers.
Offer 2 is a pass, Guy wants but won’t give.
I’d be happy with Matthews, Kucherov, Hughes if I get to the point I’m out of it this year.

In a keep 6, 12 team league, I don't see a situation where I'd ever trade McDavid tbh... I'd much rather try to make trades to upgrade my other keepers here via trade or swing on a player or 2 with higher upside in the draft who you could keep.

Honestly that Matthews/Kucherov offer has my ears perking up.

However the big thing is how you see Kucherov next yr. I would explore that. Matthews seems to be hitting more, and he'll likely win more faceoffs.

If you do a trade though for matthews/Kuch, it should be also around you moving your 7/8/9th keepers for future picks if your team slides out of contention.

I'm with the rest on #2, it's just not good at all.

#1 is intriguing, however you need to be getting more given Kucherov is out this year. Either a bunch of picks or another solid player. I don't love your counter of Ehlers/Barrie to have Hughes included.

#3 isn't bad either, but you're losing the best player in the deal when you already have solid keepers, it's just not worth the moderate upgrade. If it gives you the win this year I might do it, but this year is such a crapshoot, we're not even sure if it will finish, similar to last year.

I have decided the only one worth pursuing would be Matthews, Kucherov. I’m going to leave it for now and come back to it later when I have a better idea as to my teams chances this year.
