I think down the line, Byfield + Zegras for Barkov will look very good for you. I love Barkov and he is a good bet for PPG + in any given year.. both Zegras and Byfield look to have that potential and if you want to roll the dice on that, I wouldn't blame you one bit.

I do think however that Jones is a far better fantasy dman than Seider projects to be. Problem with Jones is that Werenski is always around to eat some offensive production.. but puts up solid numbers. Seider is the kind of dman I would love to add for peripherals, but wouldn't rely on him offensively (not to say it won't be there.. but I don't think his offensive upside is anywhere near Jones).

I'm a gambler in FH, so I'm always up for the cowboy move and would make this deal knowing in 3 years time, there's no way that I could get Zegras and Byfield for Barkov.. Jones and Seider, well you get a young dman with Hronek as his only competition to any significant role on the team.. so maybe, out of sheer opportunity, he fills the stat sheets with As and adds a bunch of peripheral cats (if you count them).

Note that the other GM is my father so we want to construct a fair trade as he is in a win now mode and not me. He also have tomasino, krebs, boldy, valimaki and all his 2021 draft pick that im intersted to.

i traded Barkov for J Huges 10-12 pick in 2021 and 2nd rounder in 2021 about 3 months ago..im pretty happy with that but time will tell...barkov is already elite even tho he had down season
