I agree with this. If you were to move Pasta, you should expect a big return, and also try to address your weaknesses. This offer doesn't do that. I also think Mantha is going to have a big year. So overall, this one is a no for me.Originally Posted by Rockies & Hockeys

I agree with both Rockies and Smurf. If you are going to be moving either of those guys you need to be upgrading your D & G not taking on aging players.

It is not a terrible offer.
But as stated above. This GM is moving his older players while they still have power to make a strong offer.
It doesn't address any of your team needs.
So counter back if you are good moving Padta. But only as long as you are adding to your team in areas you need; defencemen the biggest area, and then goalie.
Keep in mind that Pasta just shared the Rocket Richard trophy with Ovie. I believe he could be in that discussion again for next 4 yrs. He is your best goal scorer.
