Nico Hischier vs Patrick Laine Points Only

Points only Salary Cap league who would you rather own? Specifically, I could fit Hischier at 7.25M for several years. I won't be able to fit Laine in beyond this season.

Patrik Laine.. make room. Sure he may go up to 8.5-9m. but I'd pay 1 to 3m more for Laine over Hischier

i think problem with Hischier is that he is becoming a great 2 way center and plays behind Hughes so he will get more defensive assigments. Laine is a scoring machine but i dont see him ever doing much more than 70-75 points. It really depends on the contracts here...if Laine gets 10m i dont think he is worth it..but if its around 8 i prefer Laine...So its tough call atm.

The unknown of Laine makes me say Hischier is your better choice long-term. I think Hischier still has lots to prove and we haven't seen his best years yet. I dont think he's going to be that far behind Laine in overall points when the dust settles and his contract is locked in.
