    Cool Couturier or Debrincat

    Hi guys,

For a keeper, points only with a value of 1 points a goal and 1 points an assist, who do you keep between Couturier and Debrincat? Would you consider Olofsson to be in the discussion?

    Thank you.

    Welcome to the forums.

I prefer Couturier but it's close and no, I don't consider Olofsson in the discussion here.

I'd take Couturier now (and for safety's sake), but I think the upside of Debrincat is probably higher and he could easily return to form and be the guy going forward.
Olofsson isn't in the mix as said above.

    I didn't consider position since it wasn't mentioned, but that's definitely a difference-maker.

Debrincat for me. No to Oloffson, Cat and Cout are both a level above.

Debrincat has the higher upside (specially if Dach plays like he did in the playoff) but I would go Couturier because you know what you are gonna get

I'd go with Couturier. It's the so called "safe pick", but his floor is already fairly high. Likely a lock for 70+.

Olofsson is not in the discussion for me.

Close call between the other two. Might help to know the rest of your roster and if your in win-now mode, but initially I lean Couturier. He feels like the safer choice for this season to pace for ~70 pts. Longer term, however, I like Debrincat and I wouldn't be shocked if he outpaced Couturier this year even. And for whatever it's worth, Couturier now plays in a Vigneault system that could mute his point totals. He still plays a lot of minutes, but saw a decrease at all strengths and as expected his pace went down some.
