Well **** me.
Ugh. Terrible news.
Nothing worse than being at your passionate side-gig... and feeling like things are not safe... and the longer your stay, the harder you try, possible the more likely you are... to get COVID.
Eff it.
Go home.
Live for another day.
Props to the ladies... some other day.
I know that the NWHL forgot to do.... they forgot to invite the Schreech Owls to Lake Placid!!

FYI in case anyone missed it, Semis and Final are going to be played Mar 26/27.
Also, looks like the league is planning to expand to Montreal for a seven team league next season.

Did anyone watch the finals this weekend?
I had the kids as the wife was working so I didn't tune in.
Congratulations to the Pride!

I watched the majority of it. Was disappointed for Toronto and Connecticut that they couldn't pull of Semis wins, but it was good to have a Bos/Min final after the one last year between those two teams got cancelled.
Waiting on the NWHL site to have the full stats from this weekend so I can update the scoring.

Huge apologies on the delay here. In part due to the NWHL website not updating properly, in part due to life being super busy right now, and just in part because I kept pushing it down my to-do list and not prioritizing it.
Anyways, I have finally updated the complete standings, and after a very windy road to the finish line, we are able to crown an inaugural winner of the DH-NWHL Fantasy League! (I'll have to brainstorm a better name before s2)
A big thank you to all of you for joining and being such great sports with this, and an even bigger congrats to the Kilts/Magicstew! A convincing win, and double the points even of me in third place.
Name Rnk Points Kilts 1 51 Girl in a Hockey Song 2 49 Fratkin on a Napkin 3 25 Alkytalkys 4 22 Netguardiam Leveille-osa 5 21 Wonder Women Warriors 6 20
Solid job by all, and props to Metaldude26 for the best team name IMO.
Updated stats are all in the googlesheets file still linked in the first post of the thread.
Cheers to all, and if you want to keep up with the NWHL over the offseason, FA frenzy is May 15, while the draft is June 29.

Thanks for organizing!
Great to provide some exposure for women's hockey!!!
Thanks for running this.
It was fun.
When I calculated the points quickly when playoffs I had my self a lot closer than 6 points out.
I think you may have missed adding in the goalie stats.
Which only really effects Netguardium in standings.

Ah damn, you're right. I was shifting things around for formatting and it messed with the formulas.
Fixed now, and you're right. Steve jumps up to five, and you were within 2 of first.
