I'd do 21/26 for 13 but not the other offers.
24 Team League, 23 Player Roster, 27 Player Farm
NHL Salary Cap plus 10%
H2H Cats - G, A, SOG, PIM, PPP, SHP, GWG, HIT, BLK, FOW, TOISH, Take Away (D only)
The team I just took over is very poor (worthy of lottery pick) with not many decent prospects. Draftees can be held "off the books" for one year - they don't take up any farm slots.
Wondering if I should trade up in the 5 round entry draft. Draft is only 2020 rookies.
I have picks 1, 21, 26, 35, 51. 70, 79, 107
Offers on the table are:
Give: 21 / 26
Receive: 13
Give: 21 / Werenski
Receive: 13 / Crouse / 1 of (fonstad/ikonen/dudas/jenik)
13 is about where the big drop off seems to be.
Werenski has two years on his deal left, though right now the cap is no issue.
He has Vilardi and Branstromm I could try to bring into the deal instead of Crouse if he isn't enough.
I'd do 21/26 for 13 but not the other offers.
10 Team, Points Only, Cash League

G- Vasilevskiy, Sorokin, Oettinger

IR: *Cirelli, *DeBrusk
Thanks - seeing if I can move up to 12 with those two picks. Otherwise will probably go with the first deal there.
I agree with keeping Werenski, so 2 picks for one would be the deal I prefer.

I missed out on moving up to 12 to an offer of picks 23 / 24.
Is there a good argument for just standing with what I have in picks 21 / 26?
Or do you prefer to deal them for 13?
Take 13. The draft falls off after 13
I would take the deal for 13. From there, what player do you think you can get for 13 straight up?
- I said... "God damn this tablet is heavy!"
Take 13. Maybe somebody slips to you. Amirov and Mercer are right in that mix for me too. You'll get a really good player there. 8 picks later all the best bets will be picked through.
You're looking at 2 in the Mysak/Foerster/Brisson range if you keep what you got. Not terrible. But not as sure a thing.
Thanks all
Made the offer. We will see what happens.
I would rather have two darts at 21+26 than have the 13 dart. It's not even close.
2006: Bob Sanguinetti + Leland Irving OR Jiri Tlusty
2007: Riley Nash + David Perron OR Lars Eller
2008: Anton Gustafsson + Tyler Ennis OR Colten Teubert
2009: John Moore + Kyle Palmieri OR Zack Kassian
2010: Riley Sheahan + Evgeny Kuznetsov OR Brandon Gormley
2011: Stefan Noesen + Phillip Danault OR Sven Baertschi
2012: Mark Jankowski + Brendan Gaunce OR Radek Faksa
2013: Anthony Mantha + Shea Theodore OR Josh Morrissey
2014: Robby Fabbri + Nikita Scherbak OR Jakub Vrana
2015: Colin White + Noah Juulsen OR Jakub Zboril
dart at 13th is weighted to hit close to center, two darts past 20 have center blocked off and cant hit it...
13th should have way more value than other 2 imo
14 Teams H2H Dynasty, 28 roster spots (8 bench), 15 minors under 100

D: Krug, Josi, Ekholm, Faulk, Muzzin, Karlsson, Cernak,
G: Hellebuyck, Biship, M Jones
Werenski should be part of any build you have. Why tear down one good young piece for younger pieces? it's a setback.
I like the #13 deal - IF you know your 2nd/3rd NHL draft prospects & 2019, '18 breakout prospects well. Then you can be more comfortable drafting for real value with those later picks.
If you're new(er) to fantasy hockey. I would keep my 2 picks and draft to increase roster depth. Less knowledge = higher chance you draft duds in the latter rounds.
i don't see too many GM's being willing to sub Crouse for Brannstrom or Vilardi... I would just skip this trade scenario idea altogether.

Thanks all!
No surprises until 12 when Amirov was taken.
Ended up getting Quinn at 13. I'm happy enough with that selection.
