1 Replacement for a 12 Team H2H Keeper League $180 entry fee
I have 1 team open in a very competitive 12 team H2H category keeper league. The league is on Fantrax and we use a slow draft. This will be our 2nd year.
The person left the league due to financial reasons caused by Covid.
The fee is $180. The Fantrax treasurer is used to collect and hold the funds.
The roster size mimics an NHL roster.
23 man roster:
12 F
6 D
1 G
4 reserves (1 must be a goalie)
15 minor leaguers (162 games for skater, 82 games for goalie)
Note: next season the minor league will increase to 20
We keep 20 players and up to 15 minor leaguers.
FAAB is a big part of the league (if you don’t know what FAAB is, this league isn’t for you)
We all started with $1000 FAAB and it’s used to sign players on waivers, acquire waiver claims in trades, acquire players and or draft picks. Teams earn FAAB based on their success. For example, the team that wins the cup earns the most. FAAB carries over from season to season.
We also have a RFA offer sheet system where we bid on players using FAAB.
Teams are forced to nominate 5 of their keepers who become restricted free agents. Teams have the option of matching. This can be explained further, including the compensation package if a team doesn’t match the offer.
A 3 round rookie draft will be held each summer. Only players drafted in the recent NHL entry draft are eligible to be drafted.
