Some have stutzle over Byfield...keep your pick
For the league in my signature, so a points only league.
I currently have the 3rd overall pick, with which I am struggling between Stutzle and Rossi.
The guy who owns the 2nd overall has mentionned that he might be willing to swap picks. This would likely also cost me a late 1st which are normally used for your backup goalie, bench guys or prospects who are either less certain or will take longer to developp.
If you look only at points, is Byfield high enough in value over Stutzle and Rossi that it justifies the cost?
Thanks!
On a fantasy hockey break.

Keep 3. I see no difference in value between 2 and 3 this year so there's point in giving up any asset to move from 2 to 3.
I would keep the pick. You don't know for certain that he will take Byfield.
I would do this deal in a second... I think there's a big gap between Byfield and Stutzle. Popular belief seems to be that they're a wash, but I firmly believe that's wrong. But, if the opposing GM thinks they're a wash, play up that they're a wash and see if you can make the pot sweetener a little lower or easier to stomach.
I also think that you have to pay what you have to pay to get the player you believe in. I believe Byfield is much better than people are giving him credit for and is up there with Lafreniere in terms of pure upside and NHL certainty. He's nearly a year younger than Lafreniere so it will take him a little longer to grow into his game, but once he's there I think Byfield is the better player.
