Re: Smartwatches - Fitbit v. Galaxy v. Apple v. other
I have a Fossil Gen 5 smartwatch. I like it. I got it when I owned a Google Pixel cell and loved it with it. That crapped out and I upgraded to the New Galaxy phone. It doesn't quite work as well with messaging from it. But I'm fine with that as I just end up reading the text on my watch and if needed I'll pull out my cell.
It tracks steps, workouts, heart rate, sleep, whatever a smartwatch should do and it's powered by Google Wear OS. HOWEVER, the battery ends up being a charge/day if you want to utilize it to it's fullest power. Kind of fat for my liking for wearing while doing a sport (plus I'm nervous since it's expensive for me).
I love it though since it's round and has more of a watch look than Apple's stuff. I was recently looking at buying a used Galaxy watch and selling my Fossil one. Just to have Galaxy products though.
