I think both can be PPG in the future. It's a hard one really but I would go Fiala.
31 TEAMS keep all multi-cat (lot of them) dynasty
Offensive stats : Goals, Assist , PPP, PPTOI, SOG...
Defensive stats : PKTOI, BLKS, TakeAway, Giveaway...
    (basically best NHL player)

I think they have similar ceilings, but for now I have to go with Fiala since he's the more proven and has the better opportunity next season (unless Tarasenko's shoulder keeps him out into next season too)

Fiala for me in the next year or two, but Thomas is a guy I think people will regret sleeping on soon. If he can find a way up the depth chart for good, I think he’s going to kill it. One of my favourite players to watch.
12 teams. Keep 9 any position.
7 prospects. D scoring 3.75 for goal, 2.75 for assist. Forwards 3.5 for goal, 2.5 for assist. 0.5 for hits and blocks. Goalie scoring -1.5 GA, 0.3 for save, 2 points for win and extra 2 for shutout.

    Pre Draft

F: Keller, Zegras, Suzuki, Caufield, Cozens

    D: Drysdale, Guhle, Perunovich

    G:

    IR:

Prospects: W. Johnston, K. Johnson, Guenther, Morrow, Mateychuk

That's the issue- Is Thomas going to subplant Schenn at #2 center moving him back to the wing? Thomas has great vision, is strong on the puck, and drives play. I think St L is underutilizing him. At least he was moved up in the lineup late in the game yesterday but that was due to Tarasenko being out and being down a goal.

Fiala for the next 2 season easily but down the road it will be closer.

I wouldn’t mind at all if he played RW with Schenn. I think that may be what they end up doing in the long run.

I think Fiala will have more of an opportunity to produce but Thomas is the better hockey player. I would take Fiala.

I generally agree with this, that the ceilings are similar, but Fiala is a season or two ahead of Thomas on the curve, so he's the guy to own right now. Next year if you need to reset you could move Fiala for Thomas and a plus, and come out ahead anther year or two later.

With Tarasenko out I guess Thomas probably gets a boost, assuming they play him at wing!?

I’d expect a bigger role for him next season. As a Thomas owner, I’m really hoping his bottom six days are done.

Ditto this. His performance this past playoffs was pretty good and he is next in-line for that top 6 spot I would think

I think we are splitting hairs really, as a Fiala owner I would also love to have Thomas. Agree that Fiala has the better role right and now but Thomas is going to be Bergeron awesome in the future plus he has a rockstar name! Either or for me
