Some good news for the 'Nucks

    TSN Radio Vancouver@TSN1040

.@DhaliwalSports on Edler: Early word out of Edmonton is that he should be fine. There was big concern that if he doesn't play game 6, can you start to think who would be in the top 4. I'm getting pretty good vibes he'll be okay, which is massive for the #canucks

I wont be surprised to see Binnington back in nets for game six, even though he's winless in the bubble. If they are going down, they are going down with their #1 in goal. No sense thinking "what if" in regards to that. I would much rather go down saying we went down with the guy we won a Cup with last year and we got beat by the better team.

    This just in from Berube:

    https://twitter.com/jprutherford/sta...12928913522689

Berube on goalie decision: "Jake Allen came in and did a real good job for us. To me, Binner at the start of the playoffs, here in the round-robin, was excellent. They're kind of like our team right now. But I'm not going to make a decision on it. I'm going to think about it."
Im still expecting Binnington but we'll see.

Switching goalies did help them to a couple wins. May as well try it again.

Not surprised they went back to Binnington. It is surprising to see the winger fall on the puck giving it up to sniper... Jay Beagle?

And Jordan Binnington begins his quick descent back to the ECHL as many flash-in-the-pan goalies before him. At least he won a cup ring during his brief stint.

What a wreckless non-thought out comment.
Binnington is a stanley cup champ, and is much more worthy than the ECHL.
    Flash-in-the-pan? No.
Do all goalies struggle, yes. Do they all need to go to the ECHL, no.

Matt Murray, Annti Niemi, Corey Crawford, Cam Ward... etc.

If you win a cup, you get a lot of leash. Binnington is going to get that, and the Blues will still be an excellent team for years. I'm not too worried about him as a fantasy owner.

He also has a big contract to play for next season.

    Well, Canada,

You only have Vancouver left for any chance of having the Stanley Cup back on Canadian soil.

    Great job to the Canucks!

I am not. Whitecloud played junior hockey in town here and is from 30 minutes away. If I wanna see the cup then that’s probably best odds. Or Sanheim or Ferland If he does go back I supposed.

Just as I called it...Blues in five. Hard not to be happy for the Canucks. They’re a fun team to watch.
