Went from 70/30 to winning the series to 40/60 losing it. Brutal effort today. PP was awful. Got all the calls in the world as well.

Yeah, it really felt like Sunday's game was a must-win for them. I think the positive to hold on to is that the team has looked good aside from yesterday - even on Sunday they played a pretty decent game, could have gone either way.

Virtanen has regressed back to what he was before this season. Shame to see him lose all progress he made last year.

Another layer to this series. Tarasenko OUT! No points in the series so far but still a blow.

On the surface, it seems like losing Tarasenko would be a huge set back for the Blues, but they didn't have him for all but 10 (regular season) games this year. I'll state the obvious, Canucks must win game 5 if they hope to move on.

It looks like the move by Berube to switch to his best goalie has saved the Blues playoffs. Hopefully the Blues can keep it up.

Both Allen and Binnington had excellent regular season stats so Allen stepping up isn't a big surprise.

I am not sure if Vancouver realizes that there is a period in between the 1st and 3rd.

Man sorry i missed that game. How did the Canucks manage to defend the entire third period without Edler and Myers.

Wow. I was watching the game this morning and when St L went up 3-1, I started FFing thinking it was over. Tyler Motte- that was a beauty. Great stuff.

I've always thought Motte was pretty underrated. He pretty much is a perfect fit on any team's bottom-six. Pretty determined player, plays a bit of a physical game, has a lot of speed, and generally wins a fair number of his puck battles. Nice to see him have a great game to help the team bounce back.

I am totally happy eating crow on this one. The first 8 minutes of the 2nd looked like a clinic for the Blues but then we just woke up.

Still far from over. One win from the Blues in game 6 and it's a coin flip. I really liked when they put Jake up with Petterson. I think they should try that look more often. Jake has deficiencies in his game but you need goals to win and sometimes are top two lines can look a little stale.

Finally some contribution from the bottom half of the roster, don't forget that Motte had a couple good years in Michigan, and was a bit of a sleeper pick for fantasy purposes. Miller set them of with that garbage goal, and I also like the line shuffling by Greene, it seemed to throw off the Blues a bit. Markstrom was also huge, big key saves to keep it at 3-1. Can't wait for Friday!
