Davidson has mended some of the hurt feelings in regards to both Kravtsov and Andersson. Were things "normal" I'd expect to see both in camp.

My hunch is that Barron comes in and takes the 3C job and never looks back. Perhaps like some of the other younger players on the team he ends up training with Kreider. Howden did and he looks physically stronger, is able to stay on his skates and deliver more effective hits when the opportunity presents itself. Perhaps in the end those two guys will be fighting for ice time.

Andersson had a golden opportunity and didn't take advantage of it. For whatever reason he languished on the 4th line. At the beginning of the season both he and Kravtsov were the most vexing of issues.

Although Chytil does look much bigger and has filled out nicely I think he is still growing. Its a lot to ask a 20 year old to play center in the NHL. He has shown flashes and the hope is he grows into the position. He needs to improve at the dot for sure and the team needs him to continue to want to be better. Perhaps he does end up on the wing, but he can really fly and is starting to put it all together while at speed.
FYI he did score goals in 4 straight games earlier in the season

I'd say Andersson languished on the 4th line because he got limited ice time and limited opportunities to succeed. That's the norm on the 4th line.
