I think Matthews has played ok this series. Not amazing, but decent.

Seems like he really misses having Marner on his wing. Wonder if it might be worthwhile to swap Nylander and Marner back.

This is common knowledge and if anyone gets mad at you for that it's unjustified. They might get mad at you for thinking it wasn't common knowledge though lol. He may very well develop into one but he isn't right now.

So using this logic, if Tavares misses a breakaway tonight while facing elimination, he should be stripped on the captaincy. Makes perfect sense.

Uh no. Missing a breakaway is a skill/luck proposition. Over-committing in the offensive zone in OT in a game with huge implications with the other teams guy who already has two goals on the ice is a hockey IQ snafu. You don’t F’ing do that. That’s a down by two late in the 3rd period move. See the difference?
