I have seen this on several message boards, but they are routinely unreliable. He was a scratch with the classic \"upper body injury\" vs SJ on Tuesday, but I was wondering if anyone else had heard any news on his status. Thanks

I don;t think he was a scratch on tuesday since he scored a PP goal to tie the game and send it to overtime.

But I have heard he might be injured now. Not cool.

here is what I have dug up on Briere..

Daniel Briere is questionable for Friday night\'s game against New Jersey because of a lower body injury.

It\'s unclear what the injury is at this point, but Briere did not skate on Thursday. The Flyers have listed him as day-to-day for now.

Not really much we can go on here besides the fact that Briere will not be dressed tonight against NJ.
