Exactly. Look how well the Republicans worked with Obama. IT is not as though Mitch McConnell vowed to block the Obama administration at every turn. It's not as though Trump claimed Obama was an illegitimate President. It is not as though Trump demanded a copy of his birth certificate, accusing him of being born in another country. No the Trump and the Republicans rallied around the President even though he was a Democrat knowing he was the person the people chose and that is what we do in a democratic country. Let us all be better people and follow in the Republican example of patriotism.

    lol....love it.

Let's not forget when McConnell was kind enough to allow for hearings on Obama's nomination for the Supreme Court.

I like your train of thought, KellyAnne Conroy's Republican husband posted a similar opinion piece recently:

Ezra Klein from Vox recently had a podcast with Stuart Stevens titled "A Devastating Indictment of the Republican Party." Stevens was a lead Republican strategist who left the party since Trump was elected. It is an informative podcast from two extremely intelligent guys. I'm going to listen to it again since it was so strong. If you're interested in the topic, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for tip, I will give it a listen. I listen to the Lawfare podcast. They have a great news blog too. https://www.lawfareblog.com/ The pods are listed in the right margin of the homepage, but i subscribe. Give "The Report" a listen. It's a 10-part breakdown of the Mueller report, with no fluff.

Also, to lobo1969's point, George Conway is aa good follow. He's apart of the Lincoln Project. https://lincolnproject.us/

I'll have to check that out. Thanks. I have found over the last year or so that I enjoy interesting politics, science, and cultural podcasts more than sports. Learning about something new or listening to a discussion from experts is much more interesting than hearing a podcast about line combos for the Blackhawks or who's going to be the starting QB for the Chicago Bears.

I don’t know what I want to happen more:

    1) Trump winning outright, or
    2) Democrats rigging the mail-in voting process, winning, then Trump refusing to leave office while simultaneously proving the scam.

Yet Trump wants a mail-in ballot for him and Melania. Ok...

I think a lot of folks fail to realize, Trump's term ends in January, regardless of whether the results are delayed or contested. The role will be filled by next-up, until the results are validated. Trump can cause all the chaos he chooses (and he will) but he'll be escorted out of the White House. He's playing the role of an autocrat, without the desire or knowledge to actually be one.

Trump's failed everywhere, since Daddy gifted him $500 mil. His role as POTUS will be no different.

I'm actually hoping he refuses to leave, so the whole world can watch his ass being dragged out of the WH and into the Big House and to remind Putin that America doesn't tolerate treason.

Trump and Biden are clearly the best two people to lead the USA. One might not leave the White House, the other might not be able to remember the address. :-)
