So YES, there’s rioters. YES, they’ve set parts of more than one Federal courthouse on fire - haven’t overrun one yet, like they HAVE to more than one police precinct house.

Options: Let it go, or stop it. Pretty easy. Because once you let the rioters off without consequence, there WILL be more.

Does Trump lie? Sure. So does Biden and basically every politician, worldwide. But please, all of you who have allowed hate to enter your lives - we DON’T have to be enemies, just people with different views. Civil war in USA is good for no one, except the rioters. (Think - the “bug” in Men in Black.)

You can stop the illegal rioting without also engaging in fascism. You can also stop the illegal rioting without stomping all over the rights and freedoms of the vast majority who are protesting legally.

Trying to equate all people who lie as equally dishonest is incredibly disingenuous. Yes, all people lie. Including the kindest and gentlest people on the planet. That does not make all those people equally reprehensible since all types of lies, and numbers of lies, are not equal.

But you're wrong. For those who choose to embrace fascism, they are the enemy of freedom, and of those who value it. Fascism and anti-fascists are 100% enemies. Fascism leads to horrific evils and must be stopped through whatever means required.

That “means justifying the end” has never really been a thing. Think about what you said. If the means justify the ends, then it is OK to stop the rioting anyway that it has to happen. I wish (seriously) that someone kept track of how many times the news media has lied over the past 3 1/2 years. “Trump is a Russian agent” said over and over again just counts as ONE ? I don’t care to defend Trump as much as you might think - no chance I’d buy a used car from him, no matter the price - but it’s not as one-sided as you see it either.

Problem with the whitehouse perception or messaging is that there is no difference between legit protesters and those that riot. At least the FBI and local authorities are noticing and identifying that there are many bad actors using the protests to instigate rioting for many varied reasons and agendas. And not all of these bad actors can lumped in with "leftist extremists" or "Democrat supporters".

Sorry, but the protests are too important to be shut down by a few people who can't obey the law.
