Without doubt. He is established and consistent. Plays for the better team too.
Gusev is good but hasn't yet found his game here and he plays for NJD.

I'll take the Gusev side here. Marchessault's first year with Vegas at nearly a point a game clip is starting to look more like the outlier, with the norm being about 60 points max. Whereas Gusev was on a 55 point pace last year on a terrible NJ team. With his production in the KHL, I would gamble on his higher upside.

Marchessault's value has taken a dip but I still prefer March over Gusev for now although their values are not far off at the time being.

I would need to see more from Gusev before I'd want him over Marchessault at this point.

I'm tempted to go with Gusev here. The way he progressed throughout the season + all the openings on that NJ roster are non-negligible.
His underlying numbers are very good. His pace was almost on par with Marchessault, but with 2:30 min less ice time.
With a regular top-6 spot, I believe he takes another step.
Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

If you look at Gusev's quarter over quarter production - he just got more comfortable and better and better.
Points only - give me Gusev. I don't think he makes this very close either.

I think I prefer Gusev by a little bit, due to the growth he showed. I'd be willing to take the risk with my last keeper spot.

In a points only these guys are pretty close for me. I'd like to see a little more from Gusev before keeping him over March, but can't fault someone either way.
I see this as the safer pick = Marchessault and risk/reward pick = Gusev.
