I’ve been interested in Boqvist for a while now. Is he going to be as good as advertised? 50-60 upside? The PP should be his to lose now.

Your estimate is good. There is a definite path for Boquist to become a 50-60 point player.
Is Ian Mitchell a potential threat to Boqvist’s fantasy potential?

Mitchell only usurps Boqvist if Boqvist is given multiple chances and falls on his face each time. I don't think we'll see a situation where Mitchell is such a dynamite producer that he affirmatively pushes Boqvist out of the way.

One thing to keep in mind is that Boqvist may not get the power-play time right away. When Erik Gustafsson was scratched and then traded, Duncan Keith took over the power play. In those 10 games, Keith had seven power-play points while averaging 4:38 of power-play time per night (76.1 per cent of all of Chicago's power-play minutes). He also had 11 points, a plus-10, 26 shots and 18 blocked shots.
I don't expect Keith to be a dominant power-play guy next season, but he should get first crack, and then multiple chances throughout the season if Boqvist goes through a rough patch.
This is just a long way of saying that don't assume that "The PP should be Boqvist's to lose now."
